Public bus transportation is provided by RTD. Several public bus lines serve DEN, including AB, AT, 104L, 145X, and 169L. The airport station is located at the DEN Transit Center, Level 1, next to the Westin Hotel. Interregional and interstate services are also available, as well as hotel shuttles, charter buses, and transfers to various Colorado resorts and ski areas.

Schedules: Buses depart approximately every 15 minutes during peak hours, from 3:30 am to midnight, with the last airport departure at 1:28 am.

User experience: 🟡 While many passengers praise the efficiency and punctuality of RTD services, comfort levels can vary depending on the line. It’s recommended to avoid peak hours if carrying heavy luggage, as seating can be limited. 🔁 Some travelers have found airport signage toward the bus station to be unclear, particularly for first-time visitors.

Interregional Bus Service

The Bustang service (Tel +1 800 900 3011), operated by the Colorado Department of Transportation, provides transportation from Union Station to Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Vail, Glenwood Springs and other locations. You can reach Union Station from the airport by boarding RTD’s A Line commuter train.

Several private companies can arrange transportation throughout Colorado and neighboring states. These buses pick up passengers at Level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal.
